See me somewhere not here

I started learning about sumi-e at the age of forty something. Some may say it's too late for me, but there are friends who say otherwise. So here I am, doing something I should have done some decades back.

I fell in love with sumi-e as I knew it shares the same philosophy with haiku, a poetic form that can be traced back to zen tradition in Japan. You won't find me here talking and mumbling about zen or buddhism. To be frankly, I am not good at giving clear description about almost everything and, therefore, you don't need to expect me to do so.

As an extension of my passion towards haiku, sumi-e meets my need for an artistic expression tobe combined with some of my poems. You can see how I combine this type visual art with haiku at the other place.  Now, guys, you can either just say hello or drop some lines in comment box under the posts on this blog and my other page http://drifter-haiku.blogspot.com.

Cheers...
